SEC Expands Crypto Engagement with Nationwide Roundtable Series
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission is taking its crypto policy discussions on the road. Commissioner Hester Peirce's Crypto Task Force will host a series of roundtables across ten cities from August to December 2025, aiming to gather broader industry input beyond Washington insiders.
"We're specifically seeking voices who couldn't participate in our spring D.C. meetings," Peirce emphasized in the announcement. The initiative reflects growing institutional recognition of cryptocurrency's national footprint, with stops planned in major tech hubs like Berkeley and financial centers including New York City.
Stakeholders can request invitations by emailing [email protected] with their preferred location. The roadshow begins August 4 in Berkeley, with subsequent stops in Boston, Dallas, and Chicago before concluding December 5 in Ann Arbor.
